Workplace Violence and Harassment Training
Workplace Violence and Harassment training covers the province-specific legislation, teaching how to identify, react with, address, resolve, and report any incidents. Additionally, it provides strategies and techniques to prevent any potential incidents of violence and harassment in the professional setting. It is mandatory that all organizations in Ontario undertake a Workplace Violence and Harassment training seminar, as well as the employer’s duty to ensure that they have satisfactory policies to protect the safety and health of their employees. Training should be provided to every employee and repeated when procedures are not being followed or if there are significant alterations to the provincial policy.
