Wrongful Dismissal
Wrongful dismissal, also known as wrongful termination, occurs when an employee has been dismissed from their job (also referred to as termination of employment) by their employer without being given reasonable notice or a sufficient termination package. A non-unionized employee who has been wrongfully dismissed is eligible for reasonable notice, also commonly referred to as a severance package or termination package.
